Description	One black and white photographic print of Blanche Norris of Akron, Ohio working in the produce section of the Diamond Super Market at 12 S. Howard Street in Akron. The super market, which was celebrating its 25th anniversary the year this photograph was taken, was considered by one local newspaper to be "Akron's largest and most modern downtown supermarket." The super market was known for hiring many African-American employees and for serving the local African-American community. This image appears in the April 25, 1963 edition of the "Akronite" an African-American newspaper published in Akron.
